Vintage Bonwit Teller Black Silk Fringe Leaf Conical Pointed Pixie Beehive Hat
This vintage Bonwit Teller black silk fringe leaf conical pointed pixie beehive hat dates from the 1960s. It is made of black silk organza cut strips resembling fringe, feathers trimming around the bottom edging and black leaves layered over the top sheer black mesh net stiffened crown. This fabulous fringed, feathered, leaf embellished beehive pixie style cocktail hat has a conical shape with a tall pointed top crown, is sheer, unlined and has a "Bonwit Teller" department store label sewn inside. The hat measures 7 inches tall and is 22 1/2 inches inside circumference. It is in good condition with only a few missing leaves on the top. This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable millinery art!
