Vintage World-War 2 Era Fantastic Tricorn-Shaped Wool or Fur Felt Toque with Dramatic Spray of Tangerine Orange Ostrich Feather Plumage at side. Stunning Fishermen's Net Dyed-to-Match Swath of Netting Drapes the Hat and the trails down the rear neck. Interior circumf. measures approx. 20". Hats by Walter Florell are Highly Sought, he was "THE" Milliner to the Stars in the 40s-50s, his Hats are featured in the Met. Shown in his New York Salon with Joan Crawford in the last photo, which is likely the address on the label of this particular hat. In Good Condition but has moderate moth nips at the UNDERSIDE of the brim, with minimal nips at the top side, most notable are two at brim (see pic), 1 at crown at rear near the netting.
