    Vntg 1950s Andrea NY Sz Med. Purple Plum Felt  Caplet Hat
    I am selling my grandmother’s fabulous hats which have been carefully packed away for decades wrapped in archival tissue paper.
    Here is a 1950’s felt hat by Andrea Fashions New York. It is a simple caplet that comfortably sits on top of your head and is held in place by the wire framing that clips the sides of the hat to your head. It is one size and the framework is springy so it could fit a small to large head. The multiple colors of purple felt are in great condition. Where the hat flips up on one side there are mauve color strings that pop out of the end, but these look pretty ratty. If I was going to wear the hat, I would cut these off. But, since they are original to the hat, I have left them there.
