    Vntg 1950’s Lancaster Wool Felt Asymmetric Hat with Cascade of Feathers on the Back
    I am selling my grandmother’s fabulous hats which have been carefully packed away for decades wrapped in archival tissue paper.
    This hat is a real stunner: Lancaster black wool felted hat formed so it sits lower on one side of the head – you know, the kind where you dip and tip your face demurely while you wink at someone special. Then, when you turn your back to walk away, all they see is a mound of soft, cascading black feathers on the back of your head. WOW. There is also an elastic band inside that I think you can tuck under your chin, although the elastic is not so stretchy any more. The feathers are in remarkably great condition. I believe this hat is from the 1950s. Wear this one with pride. Fits a small to medium head.
