VINTAGE TEAL 'SPLENDIDE' 100% WOOL DRESS HAT w NETTING Drama/Theatre/Wardrobe

THIS IS A CHARITY AUCTION.  ALL PROCEEDS WILL BENEFIT DOLPHIN RESEARCH IN MY LOCAL AREA.
so please be generous!
This Dress hat, in Teal, was made by ‘Splendide’
and dates from late 1940’s.
It measures 11.5” in diameter,
with a circumference (inside) of 21.5”
and is 4.5” tall with a 2” brim.
It is designed to sit atop of the head, so essentially, so one size fits all.
It is made in the USA of 100% Wool Doeskin
it sports a ribbon band and bow, and netting in the front.
Netting is in Fair Condition for it’s age, with a few tears
(see arrows on photo).
There is also some discolor around the inside band (see arrows on photo).
Lightly Used, Gently Loved,
and seeking a good home.

Great for Stage/Theatre Drama Wardrobe as well.
These vintage hats have been in my personal collection for decades;
I inherited many, others were given to me.
Some I wore, most I did not,
but I always enjoyed their charm anyway.
