Vintage Reneeh Natural Straw Basket Weave Wide Brim Red Poppy Flower Hat
This vintage Reneeh natural straw basket weave wide brim red poppy flower hat dates from the late 1940s. The hat is made of a loosely woven natural straw done in a decorative basket weave style with red velvet poppy flower stem leaf trim and green velvet hatband sewn around the top. This pretty poppy flower straw sun hat has a cartwheel style with low round crown, wide brim with scalloped edging, an elastic strap sewn underneath for securing onto the head and is unlined with a "Reneeh 133 West Portal Ave. San Francisco" label sewn inside. The hat measures 15 inches wide across the brim, with a 5 inch wide brim and 21 inch inside crown circumference. It is in excellent condition. This is truly a wonderful piece of millinery wearable art!
