Vintage Postcard Hand Colored Rural Scene Carrie Vollmer #2235

Description

Vintage hand colored card in postcard size of an unknown state - beautiful rural scene of what appears to be a large farm with 2 stately homes - fields, tall grasses, trees and hills off in the distance.  This is not printed as a postcard on the back but has the number 2235 on the right top edge.  C.V. is also either imprinted along the edge or written in.  She - Carrie Vollmer (Vollmers?) is also the sender and has written a nice message on the back.  It appears to be a hand colored original scene.  No real postmark and only a partial view of a stamp remains. My guess would be North Carolina or Virginia area - would love to hear anyone else’s thoughts on this lovely view.
Condition is Good with minor browning, light edge wear and minor corner bumping, 1/4” creasing top left and bottom right corners.   Please - See all images for condition details as they are part of the description. Sold as is.
