    Description

    Vintage Otto Lucas of London Ladies Hat. A spring delight with plenty of versatility and charm. The neutral taupe color is still fresh, with no exterior stain. The hat is very tightly woven fiber with a discernable, subtle pattern. The band is a semi-stiffened nylon. There is discoloration on the label (which also shows the origin of the hat's sale: Lord + Taylor). We own this hat through inheritance, thus know it's provenance- New York City. It's probably from the 1960's or early 1970's. The interior satin lining is perfect and the sweatband is fully sewn in. The photos give a full picture of the overall condition. 20 1/2" at sweatband, 3 1/2" brim.
