VINTAGE ORIGINAL 1920s GREEN CREPE WOMEN'S HAT w/ WHITE LACE & DECORATIONS-as is

Description

Here is a vintage original 1920's women's hat with green crepe fabric and white lace trim and decorative glass balls (most missing), leaves and stems.  There are only four total glass balls still on the hat.  There are 26 stems that are missing balls.  The crown's inside band area circumference is about 23".  The fabric has discoloration that looks darker in the photographs.  The lining is barely attached and completely frayed, except for the Grosson Pattern logo on the bottom of the lining.
From how it was stored for nearly 100 years, it needs professional (or competent) blocking to hold a proper shape.  When not on the manikin's head, it has creases and indentations.   I tried steaming a hat with a wig head, and the wig head melted.
The hat was unsold and stored from the Gayhart-Price Millinery, a Milwaukee, WI hat shop that operated from 1893 through the early 1930's.  It was a wholesale and retail shop
, and hats were trimmed to order.  Many of these hats were not yet trimmed
.  This is one of many I will be listing, and the Gayhart-Price name appears on some tags.
