Vintage Norwegian Bunad Folk Costume Juliet Cap Red Chain Stitch Embroidery Hat
This vintage Norwegian bunad folk costume Juliet cap red chain stitch embroidery hat dates from the 1950s. It is hand stitched made of a red silk satin fabric, with colorful chain stitch hand embroidered floral vine leaf designs. This women's Norwegian national folk costume bunad bonnet hat has a form fitting scalloped front Juliet cap style with a red bow trim back, white net embroidered geometric design pattern lace ruffle trim edging the front opening and is fully lined in a white cotton fabric. The cap measures 7 inches wide across, 6 inches tall and 13 inches around the front face opening. It is in excellent condition. This is truly a wonderful piece of handcrafted Norwegian folk costume wearable art!
