Description
Vintage 48 Star Wool American Flag 5’ X 9.5’. Condition is "Used".Flag is manufactured prior to 1934 by Standard Flag & MFO. Co. in Philadelphia, PA
The history of the flag is written on the hoist:
“In memory of John P. Kennedy 1st Commander of High Bridge Post V.F.W. Died Dec 30, 1934”
The flag has 2 grommets and 2 reinforcements. It is made of wool and has dozens and dozens of little moth holes and one soiled spot, all shown in pictures. The flag is very strong with bright colors!!!!
