Vintage 1940s Hat Black Velvet Bow Pinup Rockabilly 40s Glorious black velvet hat from the 1940s.
Not a full-size piece - more like an extra wide handband or half hat.
See details to understand the folds of the fabric. The edges of the velvet on the bows are fringed (perhaps from wear over time). Under structure gives shape - attached combs to help stay in place. Tagged: Miss Alice, Lord and Taylor Great vintage condition with no major issues.
