This antique Victorian era women's natural straw woven brown velvet trim small brim bonnet doll hat dates from 1890. It is made of natural straw, with a decorative loosely woven basket weave design with scalloped straw trim edging and brown velvet trim edging on top, underneath the brim. This summer straw women's hat has a small oval shape with a small pointed cone shape shallow back crown, a flat wide brim taller in the front and is unlined. The hat measures 10 inches tall 8 inches wide and 11 inches inside crown circumference. It is in good condition. This is truly a wonderful piece of antique Victoriana millinery art also the perfect size for a large antique doll!
