    Description

    Found while cleaning grandma's estate.  This is the quintessential pamphlet on the proper use of the American Flag.  There are 6 panels as shown in the photos.
    Besides the proper manner of displaying the flag, this pamphlet priveds the history of the flag, saluting, federal flag laws and the Star Spangled Banner.  Considering age, in very good shape.
    The U.S. Flag Code was adopted on June 14, 1923, when the American Legion's Americanism Commission convened the first National Flag Conference at DAR Memorial Continental Hall in Washington. In addition to the Legion and the DAR, sixty-six other groups took part in the gathering.
