Description

Pioneering Merit Badge w/ Card -
Type C - Tan Narrow Crimped.  This badge type was issued between 1936 - 1946 and has its crimp partially turned outward as shown in scan.  This merit badge began in 1911 with the crossed black & white hand tools design.  In 1969, the design changed to a signal tower with blue background, as it remains today.  The merit badge is unused.    The green & white 3 1/8" x 5 1/8" Merit Badge Card was issued by the National Council to a scout in Troop 233 of Lexington, NC on Sept. 1944 and bears the signature of the Scout Executive and Chairman Court of Honor.  Card is in excellent conditions with no tears or major flaws.  A nice 1940's advancement card example.  The merit badge and card you see in scan are the one you will get!  Shipping & Handling are Free within USA!
