This is a very attractive and quite fun to wear vintage late 1930s to 1940s World War 2 military style hat. Typical of the era, it has a little more style and pizzazz than the actual military woman's cap. The material is a cotton wool blend in a pleasant shade of eggplant purple. It measures 4" high by 12" long. The label states "New York Creation, Size Large, Fair Label
