  • Condition: Very good condition for its age. Circa 1950 Mid Century...lavish dark navy large brim woven hat with dark navy grosgrain wide ribbon size 22 marked inside hatband. Spectacular HAT stored for years wrapped in cotton cloth in cedar closet for safekeeping for decades...a MUST HAVE!

    Description

    This VERY Fine, 1950s Mid Century  LAVISH, EXQUISITELY MADE -  woven hat Size 22 on inside hatband  - is DARK NAVY BLUE with Dark Navy Blue wide grosgrain ribbon work for design interest tied at the back. It was gently used years ago and put into cedar closer wrapped in white cotton cloth for safe keeping. There is a piece of stretch rubber covered in navy and unattached.  I put under hat with pins to show what it might look life if someone wanted to attach. Unsure if original to the hat. New owner I recommend a light steam of ribbon work as was rolled/folded for years while stored so it lies flat and correctly. It is an amazing, very chic vintage hat of 1950! A statement hat for certain!original- but very classic!  Circa 1950! Please note the head is a prop and not for sale - the hat only is featured for sale in this listing.
