Extremely rare 40 star US Flag in excellent condition
This flag is probably one of the best 40 star flags you'll find
anywhere, and obviously well cared for since 1889
Minimal color aging and minimal (if any) fading
Canvas header with "whip stitched" grommets
No tears, rips, or missing parts
Printed stars on wool canton
Sewn wool stripes
55" x 100"
There is a combination of a few very small holes, small spot stains, small
hole repairs - all very hard to see - ask me for close up photos
I'm reasonably knowledgeable about vintage US Flags, having studied and
collected them for 30+ years, and this one has all the proper attributes for
