I have used equal since it first was introduced and always found it a great alternative for sugar , but lately there is an unpleasant residue at the bottom of my coffee cup when I finish. Wonder why. Maybe a formula change.

I have used aspartame for years and I find this particular product not to stand up to previous products sold for equal brand. It does not Sweeten as it did before. It requires twice as many packets to obtain the sweetness that it once did. I'm very disappointed and thought it was a good buy. Over the past few years I have found that many products have reduced their size or reduced the quantity or quality and raised the prices on different kinds of food products. I will continue to use the Lesser expensive aspartame.
