    Description

You're a grand old flag You're a high-flying flag And forever in peace may you wave You're the emblem of The land I love The home of the free and the brave Ev'ry heart beats true Under red, white and blue Where there's never a boast or brag But should old acquaintance be forgot Keep your eyes on Donald Rumsfield for someday he will own a grand old flag that was certainly not bought. Well after that corny introduction I have a rather historic flag that flew over the Capitol and presented to than Congressman from Illinois Donald Rumsfield in the year 1966. Included in the original presentation box is a napkin from LBJ’s inauguration banquet in January of 1965. If you collect historic American flags presented to a historic figure here is one you will never find again. Beautiful example of ole’ glory made of heavy fabric with intricate sewn stars and strips.
