Crazy Vintage Bonwit Teller Ladies Knit Brimmed Hat & Hand Muff Black & Gold

I would have liked to meet the woman who could pull this off! made a very thick yarn, the muff is fully lined with a ruffle on either end, carrying strap, and a zippered pocket the entire length, total length is about 12 1/2 inches. The hat has a rim that is built around a core, The fabric on the exterior of the core seems to match the lining of the muff. I see a few strands of the gold thread that have somewhere on both a hat and the muff, both are tagged. The hat could probably fit a variety of sizes, approximately 7 inch with approximately 11 1/2 inch total diameter.
