Circa 1908, Old Vintage 46 Star US American Parade Flag.  Printed cotton canton with 46 stars in staggered rows of 8 - 7 - 8 - 7- 8- 8, giving the canton an unique animated appearance.  On July 4th, 1908, a 46th star was officially added to the US flag to represent the entry within the previous 12 months of the "Indian Territory" as the state of Oklahoma.  Flag is constructed with double stitched machine sewn stripes and fly end.  There is a canvas hoist with metal grommets.  Ink written initials on hoist, "B. F.".  Exterior dimensions are about 58" x 33". (a nice big framable size for display).  Top and bottom edges are selvaged edges.  Condition: light soiling and staining, fading.  occasional small holes on fly end corner.  Please see photos for additional condition review.  Questions welcome!
