Aviation (with Pilot) Merit Badge -
Type E - Khaki Narrow Crimped,  This badge type was issued between 1947 - 1960 and has its crimp turned inward as issued by BSA.  This merit badge began in 1911 with the white bi-plane design.  In 1940, the design introduced a more modern red & white propellor plane.  In 1952 , the design changed to show a top view of a red jet plane with a blue speck as a pilot on blue background (this design).  In 1961, the design changed to a side view of jet with no visible pilot.  In 2004 the design changed to show a jet airliner and hot air balloon design, as it remains today.  In Mint condition!  The merit badge you see in scan is the one you will get!  Shipping & Handling are Free within USA!
