    Pair Of Antique Photos Yachting in the Chesapeake Circa 1900 4th of July. Cyanotint.
    Interestingly one of the boats has an American Flag attached to it and as it is waving in the wind we can see that it has 13 stars. This harkens back to the 13 Original Colonies and the flag was probably brought out for the 4th of July Celebration.
    I believe these photos were taken in Washington D.C. or environs because they came with many other photos which were more obviously taken in Washington D. C. These photos come fresh to the market for the first time from a recent estate sale.
    Photos measure approximately 3 3/8" square.
    These photos are reminders of a bygone era.
