A great Antique 19th C. Authentic Large American Stars & Stripes 38 Star Civil War Era Flag. Overall Great Condition all consistent with age and use, there is surface wear with some old small tears and fraying at the blue, a few small holes at the red and white stripes 1 larger at the perimeter, some staining as well as some old hand sewn repairs with patches at the stars, a few stars look to have been replaced in the past.  You can reference the pictures we guarantee 100% you will be more than happy with the condition of this period flag.  Measuring 117" x 86" weighing 2lb 1oz, great large size, 2 rows of 8 and 2 rows of 7 stars, most likely hung at a fort as some point.  The 38 star flag dating 1877-1890, symbolizing Colorado as the 38 state in the Union.
