  • Condition: SEE PHOTOS. Excellent, never used, old store stock and well preserved. Clean, comes from a smoke free home. No dryness or fade, no holes or flaws. Supple and has all its spring and stretch. Needs a steam to open it fully. Lovely

    Description

    A scarce find for the historical milliner.  Genuine antique 1920s to 1930s French silk millinery veiling or hat netting.  A generous 20" wide, in excellent condition, cut from the original Paris card. Gorgeous fancy pattern, not the typical, reminds me of a spider web, beautiful. Very bouncy and springy.  PURE SILK.  Color is what I might call a pale taupe brown, a soft hue.  This is perfect for adding a genuine vintage touch to your hats and millinery creations.  They do not make this yummy stuff anymore and they never will, making this a scarce find.  It manipulates wonderfully, and a little steam will make it even more pliable.  Excellent condition.  This is for 1 full yard and is all I have of this lovely pattern.
