  • Condition: SEE PHOTOS. Excellent, never used, old store stock and well preserved. Clean, comes from a smoke free home. No dryness or fade, no holes or flaws. Supple and has all its spring and stretch. Needs a steam to open it fully. Lovely

    Description

    A scarce find for the historical milliner.  Genuine antique 1930s French silk millinery veiling or hat netting.  A generous 20" wide, in excellent condition, cut from the original Paris card. Gorgeous fancy spider web style pattern, not the typical ones found.  Very bouncy and springy.  PURE SILK.  Color is what I might call a rich chocolate brown.   This is perfect for adding a genuine vintage touch to your hats and millinery creations.  They do not make this yummy stuff anymore and they never will, making this a scarce find.  It manipulates wonderfully, and a little steam will make it even more pliable.  Excellent condition.  Length is 2 YARDS long in one continuous piece.  This is all I have of this lovely pattern and color.
