  • Condition: SEE PHOTOS. Excellent, never used, well preserved. Clean, comes from a smoke free home. No dryness or fade, no holes or flaws. Supple and has all its spring and stretch. Needs a steam to open it fully. No holes or breaks. Lovely

    Description

    So lovely!  Genuine antique 1910s to 1920s French silk millinery veil.  A large full square of fine silk netting, each corner is lavishly embroidered in tambour stitches.   Very bouncy and springy.  PURE SILK.  This was placed over the head or over milady's hat.  This is perfect for adding a genuine vintage touch to your hats and millinery creations.  Light as air.  They do not make this yummy stuff anymore and they never will, making this a scarce find.  It manipulates wonderfully, and a little steam will make it even more pliable.  Measures  23" square. (23" by 23").  Excellent condition, never used.
