Use this Golden Barrel 90/10 creme fondant as a base to make irresistible icings! Compared to the firm texture of rolled fondant that can be used alone for forming designs and figures, this creme fondant serves a different purpose and cannot be used as a substitute for rolled fondant. It is generally blended together with other ingredients in a mixer to make buttercreams or fudge-type icings, and applied to the finished cake or cupcake in the same way as regular icing.
