48 Star Linen Cotton American Flag 33” by 57” inches Vintage US Original

Description

This is an original 48 star American flag.  I believe it is made out of linen/cotton.  The flag measures approximately 33 inches by 57 inches. The two eyelets are made out of steel.  There is some writing along the side near one of the eyelets but I can make out what it says as it is faded (see picture). The flag is in used condition and is a little dirty in places.  It looks like there are some staple marks along the side. I have not tried to clean the flag.  The high bidder can either leave it in its current vintage condition or clean it.  Either way, it is a nice vintage flag that will display nicely.  Please view the pictures for detail.
