    The Commodore Perry Battle Flag is an enduring symbol of American Tenacity, Fellowship and Bravery.
    Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry, upon learning of his good friend Captain Lawrence's death during the War of 1812, Perry ordered a large blue battle flag stitched with the phrase, "Dont Give Up The Ship" as a memoriam.
    Commodore Perry's most famous engagement occurred on September 10, 1813, in the Battle of Lake Erie, against a heavily favored British Fleet. During this battle and eventual victory over the British, this particular battle flag was flown by Commodore Perry.
