    Description

This is a Virginia truck and was sold at GAA's July 2020 Auction:  https://www.gaaclassiccars.com/vehicles/30404/1985-toyota-truck.  The previous owners had it for 32 years and extensively overhauled the engine and added a Weber carburetor (sorry, no paperwork for this).  The engine and engine bay are immaculate.  My only complaint is the cheap bed spray they did.  It's chipping off in places and needs to be redone or covered with a mat.  Since buying the truck, I've rebuilt the brakes, fixed the horn, recharged the AC, and put on new tires (the paperwork for this will be included with the auction).  It's now my daily driver.  The truck shifts smoothly through all gears and the 4WD and AC/heater are working. The manual steering is surprisingly good.  The truck is garage kept and is
    not
driven in the ice or snow.  I've taken photos of the common trouble areas along the bed seams, floorboards, and door frames so you can see the condition for yourself.  There are a few very minor rust spots, but the truck is overall super clean and straight.  Hard to believe it's 36 years old!  (The worn spot on the driver's side floorboard is the felt under padding poking through vinyl floor cover.  It's not rust.)  At this price, I think the truck is begging for a professional repaint.  It's just more of a project than I'm willing to take on right now...My loss is your gain.
Additional photos will be provided to interested buyers.
Please note:  I am not available to deliver the truck the week of August 1st.
