Vintage original ca. 1945 photo showing identified black Birmingham Alabama ww2 soldier in Hawaii hugging Hawaiian girl. Identified on the verso as Samule (Samuel?) Facen of Birmingham Alabama. (I found 3 black families named Facen in the 1939 Birmingham City Directory - one of them was in Ensley.) This is #2 of 2 World War Two era photos I'm offering today of this particular soldier. A U S Marine maybe? Photo taken in Hawaii.
Photo is from same estate as the black ww2 soldier I listed last night which was DATED 1943 or 1945.
Photo came from the same Titusville estate as my presently listed "
black baptist green liberty baptist church, titusville" (currently listed on ebay but subject to prior sale).
