    Description

    This is a darling beret style hat from probably the 1930's era. It is 100% wool and black in color. It is almost a soft triangle in shape, measuring 7" x 8" x 8" and 8 1/2" across. It is about 3 1/2" high. The inside opening diameter is about 6 1/2" and the label reads "New York Creation size 22." and brand label, "exclusively Rothschild's." It has a nice ivory colored ribbon affixed to the front of it, which has a slight tea colored stain on it. It looks as if it had black netting on it at one time as there is some remnant on it around the bow. A very nice hat with no unpleasant smell and it is ready to wear or display.
