    Description

At 75 I’m a retiring antique dealer who is beginning to clean out his stock of stored treasures.
For about forty years I was a pretty fanatical collector of early American flags and lots of other patriotic flag collectibles.
I was honored to have a great collection of them, but I always knew that I was only their custodian for a while and eventually it would be time to move them on to their next owner.
This 45-star flag from the time of Utah’s admission in 1896 is most unusual with its indented star configuration.
In my experience, most 45 star flags have the stars in staggered rows with an 8-7-8-7-8-7-8-7 star pattern.
Very few 45s have the stars lined up in columns with three rows indented.
Buyer to pay shipping within the United States.
Due to ebay policies, I reluctantly have a “no returns” policy, so look closely at photos and ask questions first.
